Padma raksasa (Rafflesia arnoldii), known as "corpse flower", is one of the three national flowers in Indonesia. This plant is endemic on the island of Sumatra, particularly the southern part (Bengkulu, Jambi and south Sumatra). It is noted for producing the largest individual flower on earth and a strong odor of decaying flesh. It is very difficult to grow and obligate parasite. It can only grow if there is a host plant of the Family Liana Sp.
